  • "I’m sharing my experience with Hoover automotive and performance. I have a 2017 Hyundai Tuscan and I took it to a Hyundai dealership to run a diagnostics for the issue I was having, I wasn’t sure of the results that they gave me so I got a second opinion through Hoover automotive and performance. Thomas did a diagnostics he told me what he found, and I had him repair my car. It was less than what the dealership would have charged. Thomas is very thorough. He gives you updates as to what he finds. He attaches pictures and notes. 100% recommend Hoover automotive and performance"

  • "I have taken both of my cars here a few times now and every times I am more and more impressed each time. This last time, I took my car in to get the brakes and rotors replaced. They priced the job cheaper than anyone else and in the process found a few more issues wrong with the car (which every repair shop does). The thing that stood out the most was that they sent me the list of things that were of concern but never once pressed me on getting those repairs fixed right then. As long as they continue to be this customer friendly I'll always bring my cars back to them."

  • "Hoover Automotive and Performance is good enough to be called a godsend to people like me who want to be sure their vehicles are expertly maintained without having to go to an expensive, sometimes not-quite-honest dealership. I had a heap of unattended major issues on an older truck that dealerships and other mechanics just couldn't get right. Some issues were outright ignored because the others didn't want to be bothered with difficult jobs involving less expensive parts. However, at Hoover, I got the full rundown and they were willing to tackle the jobs that other places didn't want. It's above and beyond - their work is thorough and professional. You can see they bend over backwards to make sure customers are happy. I am beyond happy and I am grateful they are here in the community. Keepers! 10 stars if I could."

  • "It isn't too often that I'm impressed with an automotive shop, but Hoover Automotive really amazed me. I brought my Tundra in and within 30 minutes Thomas had me back on the road. Overall the shop is extremely clean, as was the office and restroom. Thomas definitely takes pride in his business and it shows.   • "I have to shout out Thomas and his shop for just being an above and beyond guy and a great shop. I took my G37 in to have an exhaust leak fixed (tired of pulling the cats off after 4 times to fix it at the cat to manifold flange), to check a suspected suspension noise, and to give the car an overall check since it's starting to creep up in miles. The honesty Thomas has with how he runs his shop is bar none. He not only had the car fully checked over and diagnosed in less than a day, but he communicated with me in a way that helps you know your car is in great hands. He didn't try to push any unnecessary work like a lot of shops would, had facts to back up what he found, and caught some very small issues I hadn't noticed on the car. Not only did he offer to repair the issues, he presented multiple options rather than jumping to the most expensive route. Again, he runs an honest business with a reputation that matches. The great part is not only did he take care of the issues I brought the car in for, he knocked out some maintenance I didn't have time for while also adding some Z1 upgrades to improve the ticking time bomb that is the heater hose connector with a bleed valve without the Z1 wait time! It's nice to have a local Z1 hookup 15 minutes away if you need it. Pricing on parts and labor were very fair, and that comes from someone who loves to do my own work and save money when I can. Finally, he let me and my son talk his ear off for 45 minutes chatting about cars. 10/10 would recommend his shop as the best in the west side!"

Friend, honest. and reasonably priced unlike some other places that pressure you into up selling things, he may recommend a few things but absolutely does not pressure you to do something you don't want to! will be returning to get the axles seals done at a later date!"
